Frequently asked questions
What kinds of pets work best?
Dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, and birds all work great. Reptiles, fish, and more unusual pets are hit-or-miss but worth a try.
What makes a good photo?
One pet per photo, facing the camera, well-lit, not blurry, and not too zoomed out. Avoid heavy filters or other people in the frame.
How long does a generation take?
10–30 seconds on most photos. Complex styles can take up to a minute. If a generation fails, we automatically refund the credit.
How do credits work?
You get 50 free credits each month. Each generation costs 1 credit. You can earn extra credits by watching short ads, or buy more in the in-app store.
Can I sell the portraits I create?
Personal use, social posts, and gifts are fine. Reselling unmodified outputs on print-on-demand platforms is not — see our Terms.
How do I delete my data?
Open the app → Settings → Delete my data. This removes your device record, gallery, and all generated portraits from our servers. You can also email pawsnap@xmasdong.com and we'll take care of it within 30 days.
Where are my photos processed?
Photos are stored on Cloudflare R2 and sent briefly to Replicate-hosted AI models for the generation. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
I ordered a print and it hasn't arrived.
Most US orders arrive in 5–10 business days, international 10–20. If it's been longer, email us with your order ID and we'll chase it down.
I want a refund.
Subscriptions and credit packs purchased through the App Store or Google Play are refunded by those platforms. For prints or direct purchases, email us within 30 days of delivery.
Is PawSnap safe for kids?
PawSnap is intended for users aged 13+. Generated content is family-friendly but adult supervision is recommended for younger users.
Still stuck?
Email pawsnap@xmasdong.com with a short description of the problem and (if relevant) your device model and the approximate time something went wrong. We usually reply within one business day.
